Zetly on Sports Business Poland Congress!

The Sports Business Poland Congress has just wrapped up its 5th annual event at the Hilton Hotel in Warsaw, and it was quite a show! The Congress brings together representatives from across the entire sports industry in Poland, including sports associations, league reps, clubs, and business supporters who all share a passion for Polish sports.

During the Congress, the most involved sports sponsors, sponsorship debuts, organizations distinguished by their special effectiveness, and local “sports gems” were recognized. The Sport Business Poland Association selected finalists for the SBP Awards for 2022, which were presented at the Sport Business Poland Gala, a unique event that concludes the Congress.

And we have some great news to share!

Our partner Polish Basketball Federation was the winner of the Sports Federation of 2022 award for their work with the Polish Basketball Association. Radosław Piesiewicz, the President of the Polish Basketball Association and the Polish Basketball League, accepted the award during the Congress, and we couldn’t be prouder of this achievement.

In addition to the awards ceremony, the Congress featured a series of lectures, panel discussions, and networking meetings that focused on exchanging knowledge and experiences and building business relationships. One of the highlights of the event was an expert debate on “The Development of New Technologies and Their Impact on the Sports and Esports Industry in Poland.”

Our CEO, Michał Glijer, was invited to participate in the panel discussion, which was moderated by Paweł Kowalczyk, President of the Polish Esports League. The debate explored the many aspects related to the implementation of new technologies in sports, including the need for clubs to set up units responsible for implementing new technologies and changing the way they think about such solutions. It’s crucial for clubs to view new technologies as opportunities for development, marketing value, and new revenue streams, rather than just threats or necessary evils.

The panel also discussed the role of new technologies in analyzing data and personalizing fan experiences, which can help sponsors support teams more willingly and build stronger B2B partnerships. Zetly, the innovative blockchain company has participated in the Invest Cuffs conference for the second time as a Platinum Partner with its own booth. The Invest Cuffs Conference

Invest Cuffs is an annual meeting that brings together the investment market industry, including stocks, currencies, commodities, cryptocurrencies, and investment funds. It is one of the largest events of its kind in Europe, attracting experts, representatives of the most important entities in the industry, and institutional and retail clients.

The Invest Cuffs 2023 Congress took place at the Krakow Congress Center, where over 7,000 participants found over 120 exhibition stands of brokerage houses, banks, stock companies, market experts, and exclusive product manufacturers.

By participating in this event, attendees get the opportunity to attend conferences, trade fairs, meetings with investment experts, startup presentations, interviews, and reports.

The sports debate panel was a continuation of the thematic panel during Invest Cuffs, where the CEO of Zetly and other experts in the blockchain technology field discussed the Sport Metaverse, Digital Twin, and the future of sports. Zetly’s CEO drew special attention to how he believes the

Metaverse in Sports should look like, highlighting the importance of digital twins of sports arenas combined with VR and AR based on geolocation. All experts agreed that new technologies are the future and a huge opportunity for development.

Zetly Fueling Sports, a leading blockchain technology company, recently attended Falmouth University’s Plug into Metaverse conference. The event, which focused on immersive technology and its potential for business, was hosted by the University’s Immersive Business department and was free for attendees.

During the conference, Zetly’s CEO and COO met with representatives from the University to discuss establishing a partnership for educating students, creating an internship program, and developing a blockchain technology curriculum. These initiatives would provide participants with an opportunity to work at Zetly or other partners in the BSV Blockchain industry.

The two-day conference featured a full program of masterclasses and panels from VR specialists across the UK, providing insight into what’s next for innovation. Speakers included Head of Immersive Business at Falmouth University — Brian Waterfield, tech expert, and Immersive Wire editor — Tom Ffiske, Managing Director at Reality in Virtual Reality Limited — Bradley Woodward, hospitality consultant and VR specialist — Tracy Cosgrove, and design, technology, and innovation consultant — Dean Johnson.

The event also had an immersive business demonstration space, where attendees could experience the technology firsthand. This included virtual reality (VR), mixed and augmented reality (AR) headsets, and interactive demos of various immersive tools and technologies.

Why did Zetly appear at the summit?

During the conference, we had the opportunity to meet with representatives of the university to discuss potential partnerships.
